Another sign of a dying company. They are really getting hit by Netflix and RedBox.
So they figured out a band-aid fix for the part now on to work on repairing their reputation. I still think the delays in resolving this problem were because they wanted to find the cheapest solution to “fix” your gas pedal.
After some vocal political opposition to the NFL enforcing their trademark claim of the phrase “Who Dat” they have backed down on the attempt to stop local t-shirt shops from selling items with the phrase. For those of you that think this is the end of this issue it is not. Until a court returns “who dat” to the public domain the NFL can decide to start sending out letters on a whim like it did earlier in the week. Shame on the NFL and its lawyers for attempting to alienate fans in the name of profit. What is needed at this point is support from the city and the state to return the trademark to its rightful owners, the people of New Orleans.
